Freshtah and Ray were married at one of my favorite locations, Celebrations at the Bay in Pasadena, MD.  It’s a beautiful location overlooking the Chesapeake Bay.

This day had everything you could want.  A beautiful blue sky, great temperatures and a great Bride and Groom to share it all with.  I could tell early that this day had a great opportunity for a nice sunset.  One thing I've learned over the years is that if there has been rain within 12 - 24 hours and there are still some clouds in the sky, you have a great chance of a nice sunset.  I couldn't give you any sort of scientific explanation for it, but 9 times out of 10, it holds true.

Ray and Freshtah had a first look that brought tears to the eyes of their wedding party and families who were gathered around to watch.  From there, we had a lot of fun taking formal photos and getting ready for the ceremony to start.  Freshtah and Ray timed their ceremony perfectly and it was finishing as the sunset really started painting the sky.  Whenever I'm lucky enough to get one of these beautiful sunsets, I love pulling couples and families outside to get photographs.

It was a great night that went off without any problems.  A beautiful first dance, fun cake cutting and heartfelt toasts.  The folks at Celebrations decorate their ballroom beautifully and the strings of lights photograph so well, especially during the first dance.  I hope that Freshtah and Ray enjoy many years of marriage together.  They deserve lots of happiness.
