Logan is my cousin, so when he asked if I would photograph his wedding, I was more than happy to be there for him. I have known his fiance Caitlin for a few years and they are great together. You can truly tell how in love they are. They were married at The Estate at White Hall Vineyard in King George, VA. However, before we got to the wedding, we met there for their engagement photos. We had a great sunset to help us out for this one.

Before long, the wedding day came around. It was a beautiful June day. Caitlin was getting ready in the main house, while Logan was getting ready in the guest house. The day for me started off as normal. Getting ready photos, makeup, jewelry, etc. Logan and his guys were watching a Marlon Wayans movie which was quite funny. All of the groomsmen were given watches as a gift.

Once Caitlin was ready, it was time for bridal portraits. The room she was getting ready in was very large and included a big wall mirror. I had a couple of the bridesmaids help me clear out the room a bit and I got some great photos of Caitlin in the mirror. They are some of my favorite shots to date. The ceremony was held outside and it was a very unique look. The seating was old church pews, which was a first for me and a really nice touch of country. This wedding was fun for me, because it was the first time my family had seen me work in years, since another cousin's wedding.

After the ceremony, we got all of the family photos taken care of and I took Caitlin and Logan away for some couples portraits. The grounds were just as photogenic as they were for the engagement photos and we had a great time. Before long, it was time for the reception. We headed back in for the introductions, speeches and dances. Logan kicked off his shoes, literally... and danced the night away with his new bride.

I am always so happy to be able to capture special moments. Capturing them for family makes it that much better.
