Bridal Party Entrances
One of the fun aspects of the wedding day is the bridal party entrance to the reception. In eight years of photographing weddings, I have seen a lot. Also in that time, I know that I have not seen everything and that someone out there will do something that will make me laugh or shake my head.
I’ve seen football plays, the Dirty Dancing lift, shotgunning of beers, piggy back rides and everything in between. Expecting the unexpected is the mindset you need going into this moment of the reception. One thing that I will ask, is whether or not the bridal party is doing anything fancy for their entrance. This way, it allows me to prepare for anything wild or crazy. If they say no, I know that it will be low key.
I want to make sure that if something wild is going to happen, that I capture it. These bridal parties put a lot of effort into their entrance and this will be yet another memory for the bride and groom. Also, possible reminders to bring up at future weddings as well. Lol
Weddings are the culmination of many months, if not years of planning and when that big day comes, everyone is ready to let loose and party. Dance, drink and work your stuff when you’re introduced by the DJ!
