Tori and Mike were married on a beautiful, warm day at Jefferson Patterson Park in St. Leonard, MD. Everyone was in high spirits and I had a great time getting to know both them and their families. Jefferson Patterson Park offers a lot photographically and didn't take long to get to from where I live.

This was a nice wedding that included Canons, a sunset and a beautiful barn for the reception that gave us rich warm colors, especially for the first dance. It's always fun for me when there is a large item that you don't see very often. In this case, the canon was extremely popular and everyone had a lot of fun posing with it. That is one of the nice things that is a nice side effect of weddings. It allows me to get family photos for everyone who is willing to pose for one.

Tori and Mike gave us a lot of time for photography, which is always appreciated. It gives plenty of opportunity for looking at the surrounding grounds to find variety for shooting. In this case, between the barn, the ceremony location, the field with the sunset, we had a lot to work with. Given that the grounds were so large, Tori was a trooper walking around for quite awhile in her long dress. She was in it for the photos and I like to think I came through for her.

At the cake cutting, the couple showed their playful and competitive sides when they gave each other an extra tasting of the cake. During their first dance however, you could see from the way they looked at each other how in love they were. All the best to them.

You just can't beat this as the perfect way to end a wedding.
