What can I say? There is possibly no more beautiful place to get married than the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. It is a large area of beautifully landscaped grounds containing old buildings rich in tradition. This particular day, we were lucky enough to have moderate temperatures with beautiful blue skies dotted perfectly with clouds.

There is no more fitting privilege for the men and women who have come through there to go on and serve our country, than to be able to marry on these beautiful grounds. This is certainly evidenced by the volume of weddings that take place here every weekend and yearly. On this particular day, as we were leaving the chapel after the ceremony, the next wedding was getting ready to file in.

Don't Give Up The Ship is a popular motto of the United States Navy and it was very important for Caroline and Nathaniel to have in their photos. I made sure that it was included in many of their formal photos before heading over to the Chapel.

Caroline and Nathaniel both serve our country in the Navy and it was my pleasure to spend this beautiful day with them. It was just a bonus to be able to capture so many beautiful images. The black and white on the stairs below, has come to be one of my all time favorites.
