Keiki and Boz
Keiki and Boz were married in the garden at Rockwood Manor in Potomac, MD on a beautiful evening that wasn’t too warm, but not too cold. Getting ready was a lot of fun, as everyone was in fantastic spirits.
As I was photographing the boutonnieres, I realized that they were made out of paper, particularly, pages from books, which I thought was unique and well done. Upon looking at them further, I started seeing words like Snape, Gryffindor, Harry, Lupin and realized that they were made from Harry Potter books. When I mentioned this to Keiki during the reception, she was shocked, knowing that they were going to be made from book pages, but not her favorite series. She ran over to Boz to look at his and had a huge smile on her face.
The reception was light hearted and fun, with a lot of dancing, great toasts and hanging around with their friends and family. I loved the blue that they incorporated into their cake. I thought it photographed beautifully and it allowed for some really great shots.
