People always ask me what my favorite shot is during a wedding.

I always say that I love to tell the story. Much of that story is getting ready, the ceremony, reception, etc.

Part of that story is the small details. And despite it's importance to the ceremony and life, there is no smaller (In size) detail than the rings. I would say that they are my overall favorite things to photograph on the wedding day.

I love the creativity that it allows for. For me, it's a must to use elements of the wedding to surround the rings. After all, the couple put a lot of thought into everything that appears during that day.

I want the Bride and Groom to look back on the photos, see this and enjoy the feeling of seeing their rings in a light that they may not have imagined them.

These are usually toward the end of the night while the couple is in full party mode with their guests. I don't think they give it much thought as I'm working on these photos, but I love getting messages from them a few days after I deliver their photos, with how much they love these shots.
